A man was remanded on bail when he appeared in Schull District Court yesterday charged over a stabbing

A man was remanded on bail when he appeared in Schull District Court yesterday charged over a stabbing. Mr William Hogan (40), from Annalee Grove, Mayfield, Cork, was charged with assaulting Mr John O'Carroll, causing him harm at Coachford on March 22nd.

Judge O'Neill granted Mr Hogan bail and remanded him on his own bond of £250 and an independent surety of £1,000 to appear again at Skibbereen District Court on Tuesday.
