Dundalk Bridge, the N81 at Tallaght and the main Dublin-Belfast road at Julianstown, Co Meath, are the three main spots for speeding, according to the latest figures from the National Roads Authority. The authority also found that 34 per cent of trucks exceeded speed limits in November last year and 32 per cent in December.

Overall, the authority found that 19 per cent of cars exceeded the speed limits in November last year and 16 per cent in December, the latest months for which figures are available.
