PASSPORTS will be issued within 10 working days under a new customer service plan drawn up by the Department of Foreign Affairs. The plan commits the Department to replying to all letters within 10 days and to providing "speedy, caring and sensitive" attention to citizens in need of assistance at Irish embassies and consulates.
