Madrid - Socialist leaders yesterday formally approved their first alliance with the Communists since the Spanish Civil War in an attempt to oust the Prime Minister, Mr Jose Maria Aznar, in a March 12th election.
The centre-right government dismissed it as a "pact between losers".
