South Africans fear anarchy

Johannesburg - The South African government is afraid of a violent anarchic revolution led by former apartheid military generals capitalising on the country's rising crime, the Afrikaans-language Rapport newspaper said yesterday. President Mandela, the weekly added, is also concerned that the country's mainly-white business community is trying to cause economic sabotage by sending large amounts of cash out the country and dissuading foreigners from investing in South Africa.
