Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should be fit for Manchester United's Worthington Cup semi-final clash with Blackburn at Ewood Park tomorrow.

The striker, who suffered a knee injury in the weekend win over Chelsea, trained on Sunday but faces a battle to hold down his place as Ryan Giggs and Juan Sebastian Veron try to force their way back into Alex Ferguson's starting line-up.

Veron was the inspiration behind Diego Forlan's last-minute winner against Claudio Ranieri's men and could replace Phil Neville in United's midfield.

An away victory for United would secure a place in a Millennium Stadium cup final for the first time.
