Gardaí in Co Cavan and Co Monaghan arrested six youths in their investigation into a fatal incident in a car park in Cavan town last Saturday.
Mr Patrick Jackson of Marian Row in Ballinagh wasinjured in an incident in Bridge Street car park but later died in Cavan General Hospital.
Three are being held in Cavan Garda Station and the other three in Monaghan. All were arrested early this morning under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
