Trinity College, Dublin, will be closed to the public today and tomorrow because of a strike by SIPTU staff. Union members include porters, catering, cleaning and some clerical employees of the college.
The strike is part of campaign by SIPTU to protect the pension scheme for full time staff and have it extended to over 200 part time employees.
