Tallaght Hospital will not be fully operational when it opens in June unless the Minister for Health allocates extra funds now, the Fine Gael health spokesman has warned.

Mr Alan Shatter, who is to accompany the Minister on a visit to the hospital today, said a number of operating theatres would remain closed, some hospital beds would be unavailable for use and dialysis stations would be under-utilised unless Mr Cowen provided the extra funding immediately.
