An amnesty for all political prisoners should be part of any talks agreement, Sinn Fein has said.
A party negotiator, Mr Gerry Kelly, said this amnesty should be retrospective, cancelling licence arrangements for those already released and deleting criminal records arising from the Troubles.
Restrictions or bans on former prisoners holding public office or jobs in the civil service, teaching, or in "a new policing service" should also be removed, he said.
