Co Clare:Gardaí in Co Clare have appealed for the public's help in finding a German woman who has not been heard of since she flew to Ireland last weekend.

There are “serious concerns” for the safety of Stephanie Glosse (22), gardaí said in a statement, noting she had made no contact with home.

She is described as being 180cm (5ft 11in) in height, with brown hair, brown eyes and wears glasses.

She is believed to have arrived in Dublin airport at about 9.30pm on Friday, March 30th.

Ms Glosse may have been travelling onwards to Co Clare.

It is understood that local gardaí and rangers at the Cliffs of Moher have been placed on high alert and are keeping a look out for the missing woman.

Some members of the Doolin Coast Guard unit have also volunteered to keep a watch.

The Irish Coast Guard has not been formally requested to search for Ms Glosse.

Gardaí have asked anyone with information or anyone who may have seen her to contact Ennistymon Garda station on 065-707 2180.
