Serbian police have shot dead two men described as suspects in assassination of Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic.

Serbian police have shot dead two men described as suspects in assassination of Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic.

Dusan Spasojevic and Milan Lukovic were shot as they were resisting arrest, the Interior Ministry said.

The two were allegedly leaders of the Zemun Clan, a crime gang that has been accused of masterminding the March 12th assassination of Djindjic.
