Gardai in Dublin are seeking information on the whereabouts of 27-year-old William Maughan who has been missing  for five days.

Mr Maughan went missing from his home in Cushlawn Park in Tallaght on December 29th.

He is thought to have been wearing a white tracksuit top with grey or light blue stripes on the sleeves. He is 5ft 8in with brown eyes, dark receding hair and medium build.

Gardaí are today continuing their search for a schoolteacher who has been missing in Connemara since New Year's Eve and who requires medication.

Rosanne Kenny (43), from Kilmacud, Co Dublin, was on holidays with her husband and brother in Co Galway.

She left a hotel in Tully Cross, north Connemara, on December 31st and was driving a green Mazda 626 hatchback, registration number 93D8257.

She is described as being about 5ft 3in, of average build, with short dark hair and blue eyes. She is believed to have been wearing a hip-length coat when last seen.

A search of north Connemara took place yesterday.

Gardaí at Clifden have asked for people with information to contact them at 095-22500 or at any Garda station.
