Nicosia - The Supreme Court in Cyprus yesterday reduced to 25 years the life sentences of three British soldiers jailed for the killing of a Danish tour guide four years ago.

The court upheld an appeal that the initial sentence against the three, who were soldiers in British bases on the island at the time of their arrest, was harsh and partly the result of faulty legal reasoning.
