Bomb disposal experts were called to examine a trailer believed to contain mortar launchers in a security alert near Kinawley in Co Fermanagh yesterday. The trailer was found beside a burned-out car some 500 yards from the Border with Co Cavan. A pipe bomb was left outside a pub in Caledon in Co Tyrone at closing time on Thursday night. No one was injured.
