Scottish Football Association chief executive David Taylor is set to reveal more about a possible bid to host the 2008 European Championships.

Taylor is to make a statement after the SFA's annual meeting at Hampden Park on Wednesday, in which the 78 member clubs and affiliated associations are to rule on proposals for change in the domestic game.

The most significant of those is a proposal by Kilmarnock to scrap replays in the Scottish Cup from round three onwards.

The Scots are keen to host a major tournament in the next few years, with the World Club Championship another possibility.
