Jonathan Ross returned to the BBC to film his chat show today after completing a 12-week suspension for his part in the Andrew Sachs phone scandal.

The 47-year-old arrived at Television Centre in west London early this morning to prepare for the programme, which will go out tomorrow night.

He was taken off the airwaves after he and Russell Brand left a series of offensive messages on the Fawlty Towersactor's answering machine while recording Brand's radio show.

Tomorrow’s show will see Ross interview Stephen Fry, comedian Lee Evans and Hollywood star Tom Cruise.

Cruise arrived for filming this morning in a blacked-out car without commenting to reporters.

At the premiere of his new film, Valkyrie, last night, Cruise was asked about the controversy. "I heard about that, but I think we've moved on," he said.
