The countdown to the Rose of Tralee international festival has begun with the launch of this year's event in Dublin today.
Broadcaster Dáithí O Sé, who will host the event for the third year, today revealed the Roses who will compete in the festival at RTÉ's studios in Donnybrook this morning.
The event runs from Friday 17th to Tuesday 21st of August.
A number of bands will be performing on the streets of Tralee during the festival including Aslan, the Sawdoctors and Jedward.

A total of 32 Roses will represent centres in Australia, England, mainland Europe, Ireland, New Zealand and the United States.
