Road accidents claim two lives

An 80-year-old man was killed in a car crash in Co Armagh yesterday. Two cars collided on Killylea road shortly after 8 a.m. The man, whose identity has not be revealed, was a front-seat passenger. He died in hospital last night.

Meanwhile, a second Co Limerick man has died following a crash early on Sunday morning. Mr Kevin McCarthy (20), from Knocklong, was on a life-support system at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick following an accident at Kilfrush.
