London - A judge at the High Court in London yesterday pledged to "find the right solution" when deciding the future of twin girls bought by a British couple through the Internet, Rachel Donnelly reports.
Mr Justice Kirkwood must decide whether the twins will be made wards of court or should be returned to Mr Alan and Mrs Judith Kilshaw, who brought the babies to Britain from the US last year.
In a statement issued at the start of the legal proceedings, which are expected to continue for at least another two days, Mr Justice Kirkwood said: "It is not just English law that I have to consider, but the position also in one, two or three states of the USA. In human terms there are obviously various conflicting interests and claims."
