A reward of up to £5,000 has been made available by Crimestoppers for information on the death of 12-year-old Stephen Connors. The boy died in a fire at Rossfield Avenue, Tallaght, early on September 1st last.

The director of Crimestoppers, Mr Ciarβn Conlon, said he hoped this new campaign would help garda∅ investigating Stephen's death.

Crimestoppers, the national freephone crime-fighting service set up by the Garda and Dublin Chamber of Commerce, is also making available 1,500 case information leaflets to households and businesses in the Rossfield Avenue area.

These pose such questions as "Do you hold the key to resolving the death of Stephen Connors?" The leaflets assure people who may have information that their anonymity is guaranteed. The group also intends highlighting the case in local and national media. Crimestoppers can be contacted at 1800 25 00 25.
