Residents of the Galway Docks area have expressed concern because it has been identified as one of four possible locations for a waste incinerator for Connacht.
The Docks, Castlegar, Brockagh and Coolagh/Ardaun areas were last week identified by consultants M.C. O'Sullivan. "We have serious concerns about this plan and will have to look at it more closely," a spokesperson for the Lough Atalia Residents Association said.
