LONDON - A single European currency could cost Britons £60, according to a report last night. A European shopkeepers' group, EuroCommerce, gave the warning in a report which also claimed that introducing the single currency could force stores to label goods with eight different prices.

The report claimed the costs of introducing the Euro could cost retailers across the EU up to £21.6 billion.
