A rent investigation officer, who claimed his involvement in evictions had gradually damaged his health, withdrew his action for damages against Dublin Corporation yesterday.
Mr John Glynn (63), of Ashford, Co Wicklow, had sued the corporation for damages, alleging he had emotional suffering, nervous stress and anxiety resulting from his work. The claim was denied.
