Bogota - The army said that a major attack on Sunday by left-wing rebels on Jurado, a town on Colombia's Pacific Coast, left at least 23 soldiers and 42 insurgents dead. The army said that its anti-guerrilla units, with air support, regained control of the town - which lies just 16 km south of the border with Panama - yesterday morning.
