The Westmeath rape trial at the Central Criminal Court has been adjourned until tomorrow due to the bad weather, as some witnesses and a juror were unable to get to court yesterday.
A 56-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to nine charges of rape and indecent assault on a now 72-year-old woman on dates from 1983 to 1994.
