A 28 year old man appeared, in Kilmainham District Court, Dublin, yesterday charged with raping a 12 year old girl.
The defendant, a US citizen, is also charged with sexually assaulting the girl and with sexually assaulting another 12 year old girl. Both alleged offences occurred on June 28th last.
Judge Gillian Hussey remanded the defendant in custody until October 9th.
