Quinn and Humphreys to run for Labour

The Labour Party has selected two candidates to run in the Dublin South-East constituency in the next general election.

The Labour Party has selected two candidates to run in the Dublin South-East constituency in the next general election.

Sitting TD Ruairí Quinn was unanimously reselected and Cllr Kevin Humphreys was chosen in a separate vote after beating Senator Ivana Bacik for the nomination by 43 votes to 27. The party had split the convention into two areas on a one-member, one-vote basis. The convention took place on Monday in Bewley’s Hotel, Ballsbridge, Dublin.
