PricewaterhouseCoopers, the world's largest accounting and consulting company, said today it plans to cut up to 1,000 jobs at its US consulting business. This is 8 per cent of the unit's 12,000 employees.
The consulting and accounting giant, whose international practice serves Fortune 500 companies around the world, said major companies had reduced or were delaying spending.
