The High Court has struck down planning conditions which gave the public access through lands at the Old Head of Kinsale on which an £8 million golf course has been built.

The conditions providing future public access to the Old Head were imposed or upheld by An Bord Pleanala when Ashbourne Holdings Ltd of Cork applied in 1997 for retention of planning permission for the clubhouse and ancillary facilities.
