Detectives were today looking for two men who robbed a post office.

Detectives were today looking for two men who robbed a post office.

The pair went into the business in Coalisland, County Tyrone just before 9.30am and forced a female staff member to open the safe.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland said a substantial amount of money was taken before the robbers made their escape in a white van.

The woman was unhurt but left badly shaken by her ordeal.

The men were described as being in their mid 30s and slim built.

One was 1.78m (5ft 10in) and was wearing a dark blue suit, white shirt, blue tie and a beanie hat.

The other was described as being 1.68m (5ft 6in) and was wearing a white shirt with black epaulettes and a black tie.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police in Dungannon.
