The PSNI is investigating an assault on a 14-year-old girl in Derry early yesterday morning.
The incident, which the PSNI have said was an indecent assault, happened at about 2am on Tuesday in the Creggan area.
The girl was returning home after a night out in the city centre and as she took a shortcut through an alley between Creggan Heights and Rathmore where the man approached her.
The suspect is in his 40s, about 5ft 8in tall and of a thin build. He was wearing a dark hooded top.
