Police in the North are today investigating a pipe bomb attack on a house in Armagh.

Police in the North are today investigating a pipe bomb attack on a house in Armagh.

The device was left on the window sill of a house in Faugh-a-Ballagh Court in Armagh early this morning.

It exploded shortly after 1.30 a.m. causing extensive scorch damage. but no one was injured.

A PSNI spokeswoman said the police had yet to establish a motive for the attack.
