PSNI investigate Belfast gun attack

A gun attack on a house in west Belfast was today being investigated by police.

A gun attack on a house in west Belfast was today being investigated by police.

A woman escaped injury when shots were fired through the front door of her home at Selby Court in the Grosvenor Road area.

The woman heard two loud bangs shortly after midnight and on investigation discovered two holes in the door, said a spokesman for the PSNI (Police Service of Northern Ireland).

Detectives seeking to establish a motive for the attack appealed for anyone with information about it to contact them.
