The British army has made safe two pipe bombs in Randalstown outside Belfast overnight.

A male caller to the PSNI claimed the bombs were planted by the Protestant Action Force.

One of the bombs was discovered outside a house in The Meadows at around 3 a.m. A short time later, a second device was found on Station Road.
