A Co Clare property agent has appeared in court charged with deception and stealing, relating to amounts totalling over €75,000.
At Shannon District Court sitting in Ennis yesterday, Fiona Lillis (36), of Lisduff, Newmarket-on-Fergus appeared in connection with 61 charges between December 17th, 2007, and September, 30th, last year.
Ms Lillis is facing four deception charges in relation to Richard Dineen totalling €59,570 at Charlotte Quay, Limerick, in respect of money received for rent at the Kincora apartments, Shannon.
Ms Lillis is also facing 45 charges of theft against Mr Dineen in respect of cheques paid by tenants. Judge Joseph Mangan adjourned the case to September 17th to allow the serving of the Book of Evidence.
