A priest accused of indecent assault of young girls dating back 37 years may be tried in the District Court. The cleric is accused of two indecent assaults of a girl in 1960 and two more offences against another girl in 1977. All are alleged to have occurred in the Dublin area.
Dublin District Court heard the Director of Public Prosecutions was still considering jurisdiction in the case and the defendant was remanded on continuing bail to May 27th.
