BRITAIN: Opinion polls published yesterday indicate Tony Blair's standing has plummeted to an all-time low following the row over "honours for sale".

Voters now think his government is at least as sleazy as John Major's and most believe Mr Blair did give honours for cash.

It has also emerged that senior government figures, including deputy leader John Prescott and chancellor Gordon Brown, were kept in the dark about Labour's loans.
