Police in Poland have arrested a number of people in relation to the the collapse of a roof on an exhibition hall in Chorzow, southern Poland, that killed 67.

Three men have been arrested and charged over the January roof-collapse.

Although the exhibition hall is owned by Katowice International Fair, its parent company is a joint shareholding between the local authorities and a British majority shareholder, Expomedia.

Locals in Katowice said the building was constructed in a hurry, and one woman told a local radio station that the roof leaked on her stand during the first exhibition there.

The accident was Poland's worst building disaster and its worst disaster of any kind since a Polish airlines jet crashed in 1987 near Warsaw, killing 183.
