Point blank. It's simple: aim and fire. This is arcade action in the truest sense. The levels are short and sweet, the music is garish and the action is non-stop.

The object is simple. You are given a certain amount of bullets, targets and time in which to shoot them. This can range from shooting one bottle with one bullet in one second to shooting 40 fish in 20 seconds or firing 60 shots into a stationary car in 15 seconds.

There are few frills, but plenty of pulsating gameplay and variety.

Ideally to play this game you should have the G-COM 45 gun, but even with the basic controller, sleight of hand and a quick eye will be sufficient in all but the most difficult of levels.

Point Blank is fun for all the family, whether you are five or 55 and the two-player option further enhances this.

It is extremely simple to get to grips with and within a matter of seconds you'll be firing off your little pistol with great gusto.

Point Blank is also ideal if you have a few minutes to spare and don't feel like taking on the world or taxing the old grey matter too much.
