A PSNI officer was treated for a head wound in hospital today after being injured in a hit-and-run incident in Derry city this morning.
He was hit by a red Vauxhall Cavalier car near the Benview estate in the Coshquin area of the city shortly before 8.00 a.m.
He was treated in Altnagelvin Hospital, and released this afternoon.
Police have appealed for witnesses.
