A 14-year-old boy who had spent more than a week in custody at Waterford Garda station had been found a place in a healthcare unit, the High Court was told yesterday.
Ms Doirbhile Flanagan SC, for the boy, who cannot be named, told Mr Justice O'Higgins that until now there had been nowhere to keep him. He faces a charge of attempted assault with a knife on his mother.
