London - The Pink Panther, the cartoon world's ultimate symbol of wit and non chalance - and occasional wild panic - celebrated his 35th birthday at the weekend. The Pink Panther was created in 1964 and made his debut in the comedy film of the same name. That year the Pink Panther's first short, The Pink Phink, won an Academy Award.
