Petrol bombs thrown at NI house

A woman from Eastern Europe escaped injury when the house she was in was attacked with petrol bombs in Co Antrim.

A woman from Eastern Europe escaped injury when the house she was in was attacked with petrol bombs in Co Antrim.

The incident happened in the Galgorm Road in Ballymena at about 10.30pm yesterday. Police have not established a motive.

At least two devices were thrown through a downstairs window, causing scorch damage to the floor, walls and curtains.

More devices struck the front of the property, damaging a window frame. The woman was left shaken by the incident.

A white van was seen in the Galgorm Road around the time of the incident and the police are seeking more information about it.
