Opposition member killed in Zimbabwe

Harare - Zimbabwe's main opposition party yesterday announced the death of a fourth member within a week. The death followed an attack by suspected members of the ruling ZANU-PF. The Movement for Democratic Change said Mr Laban Chiweta died on St Stephen's Day of head injuries. It said the suspected assailants included new graduates from the government's recently introduced service training programme.
