A young man has been arrested by gardai in Cobh after another man was stabbed in the neck and back in Carrigtwohill, Co Cork at approximately 2.30 a.m. this morning.
The victim, in his fifties, is recovering in Cork University Hospital.
A man in his early twenties has been arrested and is being held by Cobh gardai under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
