ROME - Italy's ruling centre left Olive Tree coalition won second round elections for mayors in three cities previously targeted by the Northern League in its campaign to create a breakaway state.
The centre left triumphed in Sunday's voting in the northern towns of Lodi, Mantua and Pavia.
