The price of benchmark Brent North Sea crude oil for April delivery rose to 32.48 dollars a barrel from 32.27 dollars at the close of the previous session.

In New York, the reference light sweet crude April contract rose 84 cents to 35.58 dollars a barrel on Friday when a massive oil storage blaze in the city rocked markets.
