Legal teams in the murder trial of Dublin man Joe O'Reilly will deliver their closing arguments in court today.

Mr O'Reilly (35) of Lambay View, Baldarragh, Naul, Co Dublin, has pleaded not guilty to murdering his wife Rachel (30) at the family home on October 4th, 2004.

At the end of the hearing yesterday, Mr Justice Barry White told the jury the evidence was concluded but that they still had to hear three speeches - from the prosecution, the defence and then his own charge.

The judge told jury members at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin it was likely they would be sent out to consider their verdict by lunchtime tomorrow.

Witnesses for Mr O'Reilly's defence were heard yesterday.
