Stephen O'Flynn has joined English League Two club Northampton Town until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old former Derry City striker was out of contract at Limerick and made a positive impression in a trial period before Christmas.
“Stephen spent a couple of weeks with us just before Christmas and he impressed, so we have moved quickly to get him in as soon as we could," said Northampton manager Ian Sampson.
“He has a real hunger to do well and to grab this opportunity we have offered him. He is a goalscorer and a good finisher but he works hard for the team as well.”
